Maintain Readability in Bright Environments
Understanding Contrast in Daylight
The Modern Dark UI is optimized for low-light gaming, but bright room lighting can wash out dark interfaces. While the pack's rounded corners and flat design remain visible, text and item slots may lose contrast during daytime play.
Adjust Game Brightness Settings
Open your video settings and experiment with the brightness slider. Increasing in-game brightness compensates for ambient light without changing the resource pack itself. This keeps the dark aesthetic while improving readability.
Position Your Screen Strategically
Reduce glare by angling your monitor away from direct sunlight or overhead lights. Close blinds or curtains if possible. This simple adjustment makes the dark UI more comfortable to read without modifying the pack.
Consider Gamma Adjustment
Some players use external monitor settings or graphics card control panels to boost contrast and brightness globally. This affects all games but can help the dark UI remain legible in bright spaces.
Switch Packs for Daytime Play
If readability remains poor, temporarily disable Modern Dark UI and use the default bright interface during daylight hours, then re-enable it for evening sessions.
