Create a Custom Audio Balance for Your Modpack

Plan Your Audio Priorities

Before adjusting, think about which mod sounds are important to you. Decide which mods should be prominent (like quest notifications or important warnings) and which are background flavor.

Access the Volume Control Panel

Navigate to Settings > Music & Sound Options and open the mod sound options menu. You'll see every mod that produces audio listed with individual sliders.

Set Custom Volumes

Adjust each mod's slider to match your priorities. Boost the volume of mods you want to hear clearly, and reduce those that are less important. For example, you might maximize notification sounds while minimizing ambient background effects.

Save and Refine

Your settings save automatically. Play through different scenarios—exploring, building, fighting—to hear how your custom balance feels in various situations. Return to the menu to fine-tune further if needed. This approach ensures your modpack's audio environment matches your personal preferences perfectly.
