How to Search and Filter Your Installed Mods
Using the Search Bar
Once the mod list is open, find the search bar near the top of the screen. Click into it and start typing any part of a mod's name. The list filters live as you type, so you don't need to press Enter. This is the fastest way to locate one specific mod when you have a large pack installed. Clear the text to bring the full list back.
Understanding the Default Filter
By default, Mod Menu hides library mods — the behind-the-scenes dependencies that don't add content on their own. This keeps the list focused on the main content mods you actually recognize. If you need to see everything, including libraries, look for the toggle or filter option on the list screen and switch it so libraries are shown. This is useful when you're troubleshooting which library a mod depends on.
Sorting Through Results
After searching or toggling filters, scroll through the remaining entries. Each row still expands when clicked, so you can confirm you've found the right mod by reading its description and author before opening its config. Combining the search bar with the library filter is the quickest way to narrow a huge mod list down to exactly what you want.
