Troubleshooting Badges That Do Not Appear in Mod Menu

Check the Basics First

Confirm Mod Menu is installed and that the mod list actually opens. Badges have no surface to render on without it. Next, confirm Mod Menu Badges Lib is present in the mods folder and loaded; if the library failed to load, every badge from every mod disappears at once, which is a useful signal.

Isolate the Failing Mod

If only one mod's badge is missing, the problem is in that mod's registration, not the library. Check that the mod ID used in the badge provider matches the mod's metadata ID character for character. Check that registration happens during initialization and not lazily on first render. If the badge appears for some players and not others, compare mod lists; a second mod may be overriding the same entry.

When Everything Is Missing

If no badges appear for any mod, suspect the library itself or a conflict with another mod that patches Mod Menu's rendering. Temporarily remove other Mod Menu addons and retest. Also verify you are not running a Mod Menu version the library does not support, since rendering hooks depend on Mod Menu's internal structure. If badges return after removing an addon, report the conflict to that addon's author with both mod lists.
