Making Badges Show Correctly in the Mod Menu List
Where Badges Render
Mod Menu Badges Lib hooks into Mod Menu's entry rendering, so badges appear inline on each mod's row in the mod list rather than in a separate screen. This means your badge competes for horizontal space with the mod name, version, and other badges. Keep badge text short; long strings get truncated or push other elements around.
Ordering and Multiple Badges
If a mod returns more than one badge, they are drawn in the order your provider supplies them. Put the most important badge first so it survives any truncation. If you are maintaining a mod that shows several badges, consider whether all of them are necessary on the list row, or whether some belong only in the mod's detail view.
Common Rendering Problems
If badges overlap the mod name, your text is too long. If badges appear on the wrong mod, your provider is returning badges for an ID you did not intend. If badges vanish when another mod is installed, you likely have two providers fighting over the same mod ID. Test with a minimal mod set first, then add mods back until the problem reappears, so you can identify the conflicting provider.
