Adding upgrades to machines

Mob Grinding Utils provides upgrade items that enhance machine performance. These typically increase speed, efficiency, or output quality. Access the machine's GUI to see upgrade slots, then place compatible upgrades inside. Each upgrade has a specific effect—some boost processing speed, others improve drop rates or reduce resource consumption.

Scaling your operation

Once your first grinder runs smoothly, duplicate the setup to process more mobs simultaneously. Multiple identical machines in parallel multiply your output without requiring more complex logic. Ensure each has adequate mob supply and that outputs don't bottleneck.

Automating fluid and item flow

Connect storage systems to your grinders using pipes or hoppers. Automate fluid input if your machines consume liquids—set up pumps or fluid pipes to keep tanks topped off. Route item outputs to chests, barrels, or processing systems automatically.

Fine-tuning efficiency

Monitor your farm's performance over time. Identify bottlenecks—whether mobs aren't arriving fast enough, outputs are backing up, or machines are idle. Adjust mob spawning rates, pipe throughput, or machine count accordingly to maximize resource production.
