Understand what each Mob Grinding Utils machine does
Common machine types
Mob Grinding Utils includes several specialized blocks, each designed for different grinding tasks. Some machines focus on killing mobs and collecting drops, while others process specific mob types or extract particular resources like experience or specific materials.
Each machine has unique input and output requirements. Some accept mobs directly, others work with fluids or require specific conditions. Check the machine's tooltip and menu to see what it accepts and produces.
Reading machine interfaces
When you open a machine's interface, you'll see slots for inputs and outputs. The layout tells you what goes in and what comes out. Fluid tanks show stored liquids with a visual bar. Some machines have configuration options—right-clicking or accessing the GUI lets you adjust behavior, like filtering which mobs to process or changing output modes.
Chaining machines together
Advanced setups connect multiple machines in sequence. Output from one feeds into another, creating an assembly line. Use the mod's connection systems or item/fluid pipes to link them. This approach maximizes efficiency and lets you process mobs through multiple stages.
