Troubleshoot a mob grinder that isn't working

Check power and resources

First, verify the machine has what it needs to operate. Some grinders require energy, fluids, or specific conditions. Look at the machine's interface—most show status indicators or error messages. If a tank is empty or a power source is disconnected, the machine won't function.

Confirm mobs are actually reaching the grinder. If your collection system isn't funneling mobs into it, nothing will be processed. Check that your mob farm's design properly directs mobs toward the grinding block.

Verify machine configuration

Open the machine's GUI and check its settings. Some machines have filters or modes that might be set incorrectly, preventing them from accepting certain mobs or producing output. Reset configuration if unsure, or adjust it to match your farm's mob types.

Clear blockages

Output tanks or item slots might be full, causing the machine to jam. Empty any full containers and ensure outputs have somewhere to go. If using pipes, check for clogs or misrouted connections.

If the machine still doesn't work, try breaking and replacing it, or check that you're using the correct machine type for your intended task.
