Understand Boss Variant Rarity

Boss variants are intentionally rare spawns designed to provide significant challenge. Unlike Normal and Ambient variants, you won't encounter them frequently during regular exploration. This rarity makes each encounter memorable and rewarding.

Prepare for Combat

Before actively hunting bosses, gear up with strong armor, weapons, and healing items. Boss variants deal more damage and have more health than standard mobs, so bring enchanted equipment and plenty of food or potions.

Adjust Spawn Rates if Desired

If you want more frequent boss encounters, use /function mo-var:config to increase the spawn rate of specific boss variants. Conversely, reduce rates if you find them too common or overwhelming.

Search Strategic Locations

Bosses may spawn in specific biomes or conditions. Explore diverse terrain and return to areas periodically to increase your chances of encountering them.

Claim Your Rewards

Defeating boss variants may yield unique drops or rare items, making the challenging fight worthwhile.
