How to Tame and Ride a Pegasus

Finding a Pegasus

Pegasi are rare magical creatures that spawn in specific biomes, typically grassy or mountainous areas. They are passive mobs and will not attack you on sight.

Taming Process

To tame a pegasus, you'll need to use a Pegasus Amulet. Approach the pegasus carefully and use the amulet on it. Once tamed, the pegasus will become bound to you and can be summoned from the amulet at any time.

Riding Your Pegasus

After taming, summon your pegasus using the amulet. Right-click the pegasus to mount it. Use standard movement controls to fly—the pegasus will respond to your directional input and can travel both horizontally and vertically through the air.

Tips for Flight

Pegasi are fast and agile, making them excellent for exploration and traversal. They can carry you over terrain obstacles and water. Be mindful of fall damage if you dismount at height. You can store your pegasus back in the amulet by sneaking and right-clicking, which also heals it if it took damage during flight.

Keep your pegasus amulet in your inventory to maintain the bond and summon your mount whenever needed.
