Using Secret Doors and Hidden Passages

Finding Furnace-Triggered Doors

Jungle mineshafts feature hidden furnace door mechanisms that unlock secret underground loot rooms. These doors are disguised as normal furnaces placed in walls or corners of main corridors. Interacting with or lighting a furnace triggers the door mechanism, revealing passages to hidden chambers.

Exploring Secret Areas

When you discover a furnace in an unusual location—especially one embedded in a wall rather than sitting freely—test it by right-clicking or placing fuel inside. If the wall shifts or a passage opens, you've found a secret door.

Secret rooms often contain premium loot and fewer spawners, making them safer alternatives to main chamber chests. However, some may have their own hazards, so bring light sources and weapons.

Take note of furnace locations as you explore; you can return later if you need specific loot or want to establish a safe base camp. Not every furnace is a secret door—context matters, so experiment cautiously.
