Mizuno's Fox Variants applies random textures to foxes as they spawn naturally. To experience the full range of variants, you'll need to explore and encounter multiple foxes across different biomes and times.

Best Practices for Variant Hunting

Explore taiga and forest biomes where foxes naturally spawn. Each new fox that generates will have a chance to receive one of the available variant textures from the pack.

Breed foxes together to create new offspring. Baby foxes will also receive random variants upon birth, giving you another opportunity to see different appearances without traveling far.

Visit different areas of your world or create new chunks to force new fox spawns. The random texture assignment happens at spawn time, so revisiting the same location won't show you new variants on existing foxes.

Play at different times — foxes spawn throughout day and night cycles, and variant distribution is randomized, so patience and exploration will reveal the pack's full visual range.

Since the pack uses Custom Entity Models, all variants render smoothly without performance penalties, so you can safely gather many foxes together to admire the variety.
