Use Crash Reports to Debug Modpack Issues

Extracting Useful Information

MixinTrace Reloaded transforms vague crash messages into actionable data. Instead of guessing which mod broke your pack, you get a direct list of code modifications active at crash time.

Debugging Workflow

1. Reproduce the crash and save the crash report

2. Open the report and find Mixins in Stacktrace

3. Note all mods listed in that section

4. Group them by function (rendering, inventory, world generation, etc.)

5. Cross-check against your modlist—are all these mods supposed to be there?

6. Remove any mods you don't recognize or recently added

7. If the crash mentions a specific feature (e.g., "screen won't open"), focus on mixins modifying screen classes

8. Test with a minimal modset, then add mods back one at a time

This approach is faster than disabling mods randomly. The mixin list acts as a breadcrumb trail leading directly to the problem area, saving hours of troubleshooting.
