What to Do When a Mixin Conflict Crash Appears

Reading the Mixin Conflict Helper Screen

When two mods try to modify the same class or method, the game normally crashes with a vague error. Mixin Conflict Helper catches that injection exception first and shows a GUI instead.

On this screen you will see which mixins failed and which mods they belong to. This tells you the actual culprits rather than leaving you with an "unknown cause" crash.

The GUI includes buttons that open the issue tracker for the mod responsible, so you can report the conflict directly to its author. This is the fastest way to get it fixed, since the mod maker can see exactly which injection is clashing.

Once you close or interact with the screen, the game crashes as it normally would. That is expected — the helper only replaces the confusing error with a readable one.
