Optimize Performance While Maintaining Visual Quality

Access Performance Settings

Open your shader configuration menu and locate the performance or optimization section. MINOPZ, built on BSL and DERCODE foundations, includes several toggles to reduce GPU load without completely sacrificing the fantasy-realism aesthetic.

Disable Non-Essential Effects

Start by identifying which custom effects have the biggest performance impact. Advanced water reflections, complex shadow calculations, and high-quality particle effects typically demand the most resources. Disable these selectively based on your frame rate needs.

Reduce Shadow and Lighting Detail

Lower the shadow resolution or distance if your performance suffers. Decrease ambient lighting calculation complexity by using simpler ambient modes. These changes may slightly flatten the lighting but preserve the core fantasy-realistic style.

Balance Quality Tiers

MINOPZ often includes preset quality levels or individual sliders for render distance, effect quality, and lighting precision. Start at a lower tier and gradually increase settings until you reach your target frame rate. This approach ensures you're only paying performance costs for features you actually notice.

Monitor and Adjust

Test your changes in demanding environments like dense forests or large bodies of water. If performance remains inconsistent, disable additional effects until stability improves.
