Enable or Disable Sunrays

Open Shader Configuration

Access your shader settings menu in-game. Navigate to the Visual Effects, Atmosphere, or Advanced section where environmental effects are grouped.

Locate Sunrays Option

Find the sunrays, god rays, or volumetric light setting. This feature creates visible light beams when the sun shines through trees, clouds, or terrain. The option is usually a simple toggle or slider.

Toggle or Adjust Intensity

Disable sunrays entirely if they cause performance drops or visual clutter. If enabled, you can often adjust their intensity—higher values make rays more dramatic and visible, while lower values create a subtle, understated effect.

Observe in Different Conditions

Sunrays are most visible during sunrise, sunset, and when the sun is partially obscured by trees or mountains. Fly to a forest or hillside to see the effect in action. Test both enabled and disabled states to decide which suits your world better.

Confirm and Save

Your changes should save automatically. Restart your world if effects don't update immediately.
