Adjust Colored Lighting Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (typically accessed through your graphics settings or mod menu). Look for the Lighting or Colored Light section.
Fine-Tune Light Behavior
Locate the colored lighting slider or toggle. This controls how intensely nearby light sources tint and color the blocks around them. Increasing this value makes colored light from torches, lamps, and other emissive blocks more prominent and spread further. Decreasing it keeps the effect subtle and closer to vanilla.
Test Your Changes
Place colored light sources like torches, lanterns, or glowstone near different block types—wood, stone, and grass respond visibly to colored lighting. Walk around at different times of day to see how sunlight and artificial light interact. Adjust until the effect feels balanced for your playstyle.
Save Settings
Most shader packs auto-save your preferences, but confirm your changes persist after closing and reopening the world. If settings reset, check that your shader configuration file is writable.
