Finding and Exploring MinGen Structures

Locating Structures in Your World

MinGen structures spawn naturally throughout your world during world generation. They appear in biomes that match their theme—look for Birch Wells in birch forests, Desert Bones in deserts, and Plains Towers in plains biomes. Structures like the Flour Mill and Abandoned Forest House typically generate in their respective terrain types.

Search Strategy

The best way to find structures is to explore actively. Travel through different biomes on foot or horseback to spot them visually. Many structures are tall or distinctive—the Mountain Tower, Hot Air Balloon, and Sloop are particularly easy to spot from a distance. If you're having trouble locating specific structures, try visiting biomes you haven't explored yet.

What to Expect

Each structure is designed to blend with vanilla Minecraft aesthetics. They often contain loot chests, decorative details, and sometimes hostile mobs like Vindicators in the Vindicator Library. Come prepared with weapons and armor when entering structures, especially those associated with illagers or dangerous locations.
