Mineral Chance Mod Guide

How Mineral Drops Work

Mineral Chance Mod adds a random chance to find hidden minerals whenever you break certain stone-type blocks. In the Overworld, breaking stone, andesite, diorite, granite, tuff, or deepslate can yield diamonds, iron nuggets, gold nuggets, lapis lazuli, redstone, or emeralds. In the Nether, breaking netherrack, basalt, or blackstone can yield quartz, gold nuggets, or netherite scraps.

The default chance is 1 in 50 for Overworld blocks and 1 in 100 for Nether blocks. When a mineral is found, a message appears.

Configuration

Everything is configurable through datapacks or config files. You can toggle mineral drops per dimension, adjust drop chances, disable drops when using Silk Touch, customize the found-mineral message, and ignore fake players such as mod automation. This makes the mod easy to tune for different playstyles without changing the core mechanic.
