Look up a crafting recipe using Minepedia

Locating the recipe

Open Minepedia and search for the item you want to craft. Navigate to its entry page. The recipe section will display the crafting grid layout showing exactly which ingredients go in which slots.

Understanding recipe formats

Minepedia shows recipes in multiple formats depending on the type:

• Crafting table recipes display a 3×3 grid with ingredient positions
• Smelting recipes show an input item and fuel requirement
• Shaped recipes require ingredients in specific positions; shapeless recipes work with ingredients in any slot

If an item has multiple recipes (for example, different ways to obtain it), Minepedia lists all variants on the same page.

Using the recipe information

Note the exact ingredients and quantities needed. If you're missing materials, you can search for those ingredients too to find their recipes. This lets you work backwards from your goal to plan a full crafting chain before gathering resources.
