How to Fix MineMenu Key Binding Conflicts

Diagnosing the Conflict

If pressing your MineMenu key does nothing, or opens the wrong thing, another mod or vanilla has claimed the same key. Open Options → Controls → Key Binds and search for the MineMenu entries. Any bind shown in red or flagged as conflicting is the culprit.

Resolving It

Click the conflicting bind and press a new key. Pick something you don't use elsewhere — a key near your movement hand is convenient for a radial menu since you flick the mouse while holding it. Confirm the conflict warning disappears.

When the Menu Key Itself Is Taken

If the menu-open key clashes, reassign it in the same Key Binds screen under the MineMenu category. Remember that the menu key and the individual slot actions are separate: a slot that triggers another mod's key bind will also conflict if that bind is already in use, so check those too.

Modifier Keys

Some setups let you combine a modifier with the menu key. If your keyboard or another mod intercepts that modifier, the menu may not open. Test with a plain key first, then add modifiers once it works.

After Changing Binds

Restart or reload if the change doesn't take effect immediately, then test each slot to make sure nothing else broke.
