Organizing with Wooden Storage

Large crates and barrels provide high-capacity storage while looking far better than vanilla double chests. Each wood type has matching variants, letting you build themed storage rooms.

1. Choose your wood type: Decide which wood aesthetic fits your base (oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, etc.)

2. Craft or obtain crates and barrels: Gather the wooden crate and barrel blocks in your chosen wood type

3. Arrange your storage: Place crates and barrels in organized rows. Each holds as much as a vanilla double chest

4. Label your storage: Use signs or item frames above each container to mark contents (tools, building blocks, food, etc.)

5. Add shelving: Use wall-mounted shelves and display cases between storage blocks for visual interest
