Secret bookshelf doors let you hide rooms while maintaining a library aesthetic. Start by crafting or obtaining a Secret Bookshelf Door block from the mod.

1. Prepare the entrance: Build a doorway frame in your wall where you want the hidden passage

2. Place the secret door: Position the bookshelf door block in the frame—it will look identical to a normal bookshelf

3. Activate the mechanism: Right-click the door to open it. It will swing open like a regular door, revealing your hidden space

4. Decorate around it: Surround the door with regular bookshelves and books to make it blend seamlessly with your library

Tips for Concealment

The secret door works best when:

• Your library has multiple bookshelves so one extra doesn't stand out
• You place it in a corner or against a wall with other storage
• You fill the hidden room with valuable items, enchanting tables, or private storage

The door maintains normal bookshelf functionality, so it still powers enchanting tables if placed nearby. This makes it perfect for hiding treasure rooms or private studies without sacrificing your base's aesthetic.
