Use Command Line to Automate Deobfuscation

Running via Terminal

For batch processing or automation, use the command line interface instead of the GUI.

Basic Command Format

java -Xms3G -jar McDeob.jar -version [VERSION] -type [TYPE] -decompile

`

Replace:

• [VERSION] with the Minecraft version (e.g., 1.20.1)
• [TYPE] with client or server

Example Commands

Deobfuscate server without decompiling:

java -Xms3G -jar McDeob.jar -version 1.20.1 -type server

`

Deobfuscate and decompile client:

`

java -Xms3G -jar McDeob.jar -version 1.20.1 -type client -decompile

`

Memory Allocation

The -Xms3G flag allocates 3GB of RAM. Increase this if you have more memory available and the process runs slowly or crashes.
