How to Find and Loot Hidden Chests

Search Floating Islands Systematically

Hidden chests spawn on smaller floating islands scattered around the main cube. Start by exploring islands closest to your starter position, then work outward. Each island is small, so a chest is usually visible once you land—check ground level and any raised areas.

Recognize Chest Locations

Look for islands that feel intentionally placed or have unusual features. The bamboo island is one confirmed loot location. Islands with pre-built structures, like the wooden house, often have chests nearby or inside. Some chests may sit on exposed platforms or partially buried in dirt.

Gather Loot Safely

Bring a pickaxe or axe to break open chests if needed. Common loot includes seeds, saplings, and early-game tools that speed up your survival. Take inventory of what you find—seeds let you start farms, and tools reduce grinding time.

Mark discovered islands on your mental map so you can return for additional resources later. Some islands may respawn items over time.
