Finding Resources Without Touching Grass
Mining for Underground Resources
The safest way to gather materials is underground. Dig down to stone level and mine normally—stone, ores, and cave systems are all grass-free. This is your primary resource gathering method and should be your main focus for survival.
Harvesting Wood Safely
Trees are surrounded by grass, making them dangerous. Approach trees from the side or by building a platform to reach the wood blocks directly without stepping on grass. You can also fell trees by building upward beside them and harvesting from above.
Collecting Surface Resources
Beaches, deserts, and other non-grassy biomes are your friends. Sand, gravel, and clay can be gathered freely. Shallow water areas are also safe to wade through. Use these biomes as resource hubs when possible.
Managing Your Inventory
Since you're limited to underground and non-grassy areas, prioritize high-value resources. Focus on ores, stone, and wood first. Plan mining trips efficiently to minimize time spent gathering and maximize your survival supplies.
