Create Locked Doors and Sealed Passages
Using Blue Tape Doors
The blue tape doors (placed over stripped bamboo and bamboo mosaic blocks) create the illusion of sealed or forbidden passages. Position these blocks in doorways or wall openings to suggest areas that are blocked off or dangerous.
Building Convincing Barriers
Combine blue tape doors with surrounding wallpaper walls to make them blend seamlessly into the corridor. Stack multiple blue tape door blocks vertically to seal larger openings. Use them in pairs or groups to create the impression of hastily taped-shut entrances.
Environmental Storytelling
Place blue tape doors at the end of hallways to create dead ends that feel intentionally sealed. Arrange them around corners to suggest something is being kept in—or out. Mix sealed passages with open doorways to create an unpredictable, maze-like layout that disorients players exploring your Backrooms build.
Consider leaving small gaps or misaligned tape sections for a more authentic, deteriorated appearance.
