Set Up a Portal Hub in the Lobby

Choosing Your Portal Location

Identify an open area in the medieval town where players naturally gather. The main plaza or a cleared section near the spawn point works best. Avoid blocking pathways or building sightlines.

Installing Portals

1. Clear a flat space large enough for your portal frames (Nether portals need a 4×5 minimum space; End portals vary by design)

2. Build your portal structure using the appropriate blocks

3. Activate the portal with the required item or method

4. Place directional signs nearby labeling each portal's destination

5. Consider adding decorative fencing or torches to frame each portal entrance

Testing and Refinement

Walk through each portal as a player would to confirm they lead to the correct worlds or servers. Adjust sign text if needed for clarity. If you're running multiple games, use consistent naming across all portals so players know what to expect.

Leave adequate spacing between portals so players don't accidentally activate the wrong one when walking past.
