Troubleshoot Mica Effects Not Appearing
Check Your Windows Version
Mica Mod requires Windows 11 Build 22000 or later to function. Open Settings > System > About and verify your OS version and build number. If you're running an older version, the mod cannot apply effects.
Verify YetAnotherConfigLib Installation
The mod depends entirely on YetAnotherConfigLib to manage settings. Confirm this library mod is installed in your mods folder alongside Mica Mod. Without it, configuration options won't load and effects won't activate.
Restart Minecraft
After installing or updating either mod, fully close Minecraft and relaunch it. Configuration changes sometimes require a complete restart to take effect.
Check Mod Compatibility
Conflicting mods or shader packs may interfere with Mica's visual rendering. Try launching Minecraft with only Mica Mod and YetAnotherConfigLib enabled to isolate the issue. Gradually re-enable other mods to identify conflicts.
Disable and Re-enable
If effects still don't appear, toggle the effect off in the configuration menu, save, then toggle it back on.
