Enable Mica Effects on Your Minecraft Window
Accessing Mica Settings
Once Mica Mod is installed alongside YetAnotherConfigLib, you can enable the visual effects through the mod's configuration menu. Open Minecraft and navigate to your settings or mod options screen.
Choosing Between Mica and Acrylic
The mod offers two distinct visual styles:
- Mica: A subtle, frosted glass effect that blends with your Windows 11 system theme
- Acrylic: A more transparent, blurred backdrop effect for a lighter appearance
Open the Mica Mod configuration panel (typically accessible from the main menu or settings) and select your preferred effect. The changes apply immediately to your game's interface and windows.
Customizing the Effect
Depending on your preference and system performance, you can toggle the effect on or off at any time. If you experience performance issues, try switching between Mica and Acrylic, or disable the mod temporarily. The configuration is saved automatically, so your choice persists across game sessions.
Note that these effects only work on Windows 11 Build 22000 or later. If you're on an older Windows version, the mod will not function.
