Building Your First Street

Metropolis Material Grid Mod provides everything needed to construct detailed urban environments. Start by laying down painted asphalt blocks to form your road surface—these blocks feature white markings like lines, letters, and numbers for realistic street layouts.

Add pavement blocks along the roadside for sidewalks, using matching stairs and slabs to create varied terrain. Place colored brick blocks to build surrounding structures, then incorporate the mod's wood variations for doors, frames, and accents.

Finish your street with streetlights and lamp posts positioned along walkways, then scatter road signs, traffic cones, and safety barriers to guide traffic and add character. The mod's decorative props transform basic roads into lively, complete neighborhoods with authentic urban details.
