Build a Trading Hall by Picking Up and Relocating Villagers

Capturing Villagers as Items

Right-click any villager while holding nothing to pick them up. The mod saves all their data—trade progress, levels, enchantments, and breeding cooldowns—into the item. You can now carry this villager in your inventory like a normal item without losing any information.

Transporting and Placing Them

Walk to your trading hall location and right-click the villager item on the ground to place them down. They'll retain their exact state: same profession, same trade offers, same XP level. This eliminates the need for minecarts, water streams, or other transport methods.

Organizing Your Hall

Use the Village Trade Browser to scan all nearby villagers within a chosen radius from one screen. This lets you see every active trade offer in your hall without walking between workstations. Filter the entire trade pool by item type or enchantment to quickly find which villager offers what you need. As you add more villagers, the browser updates automatically.
