Troubleshoot Music Not Playing on Title Screen
Verify File Format
Confirm your audio file is in OGG Vorbis (.ogg) format. Minecraft and this mod only recognize .ogg files. If you have an MP3, WAV, or other format, convert it using audio software first.
Check Folder Structure
Ensure your resource pack follows the exact path: assets/minecraft/sounds/music/. Typos or missing folders will prevent the mod from finding your files. Double-check capitalization and spelling.
Confirm Resource Pack is Active
Open Video Settings in-game and verify your custom resource pack is selected and appears in the active list. If it's in the available list but not active, move it to the active side.
Validate pack.mcmeta
Your resource pack's root folder must contain a valid pack.mcmeta file. Without it, Minecraft won't load the pack at all.
Test with a Known File
Download a confirmed working menu music resource pack and compare its structure to yours. This helps identify structural issues. If that pack works but yours doesn't, the problem is in your file or folder setup, not the mod.
