Replace Default Menu Music Completely
Understand the Default Behavior
Menu Music Mod overrides the default Minecraft title screen music when you add custom tracks to the menumusic:music identifier. Your custom files take priority over vanilla music.
Create Your Replacement Track
Choose or create a single music file in OGG Vorbis format that you want to play instead of the default menu theme. This will be your replacement.
Set Up the Resource Pack
Create a resource pack and place your replacement track in assets/minecraft/sounds/music/. Name it clearly so you remember it's your menu replacement.
Activate and Test
Place the resource pack in your resourcepacks folder, activate it in Video Settings, and launch the game. Return to the title screen—your custom music should play instead of the default track.
Fine-Tune if Needed
If you want the replacement to loop seamlessly or have specific timing, ensure your .ogg file is properly encoded. Some audio editors allow you to set loop points, which can improve the listening experience on the title screen.
