Add Custom Music to Your Title Screen

Prepare Your Music File

First, obtain or create an audio file in OGG Vorbis format (.ogg). This is the standard format Minecraft uses for music. Convert your file if necessary using free audio software.

Create the Resource Pack Structure

Create a new resource pack folder. Inside it, navigate to assets/minecraft/sounds/music/ and create this directory structure if it doesn't exist.

Add Your Music File

Place your .ogg file in the assets/minecraft/sounds/music/ folder. The mod will automatically detect sound files placed here with the menumusic:music identifier.

Configure the Resource Pack

Ensure your resource pack has a valid pack.mcmeta file in its root directory. This tells Minecraft to load the pack.

Load and Test

Place your resource pack in the resourcepacks folder in your Minecraft directory. Launch the game, select the resource pack in Video Settings, and return to the title screen. Your custom music should now play instead of the default menu track.

If the music doesn't play, verify the file format is .ogg and the folder structure matches exactly.
