How to Customize the Memory Help Message Shown at Launch

The Help Message

When the mod detects a memory problem, it can display a help message explaining how to change your RAM allocation. This message is fully configurable, and it supports HTML, so you can format it with links, bold text, and line breaks instead of a plain wall of text.

Setting Your Own Message

1. Open the mod's config file.

2. Find the help message entry. It will contain the default text the mod ships with.

3. Replace the text with your own instructions. Because HTML is supported, you can use tags such as bold, italic, line breaks, and anchor links to point players to your launcher's memory settings.

4. If you run a modpack or server, tailor the message to your specific setup so players know exactly which launcher option to change.

5. Save the config and restart the game to preview the message.

Keep the message short and actionable. A player seeing it at launch wants one clear instruction, not a paragraph. If you disable the warning entirely, the help message will not appear, so leave the warning enabled if you rely on the message to guide players.
