Finding Mew with the Mellomons Data Pack

Where and When Mew Spawns

With the Mellomons Data Pack installed alongside Cobblemon, Mew is not something you stumble across by accident. It spawns as a very rare creature, and the only place it appears is inside Jungle biomes. Because the spawn rate is so low, expect to spend a long time searching before one shows up.

Time of Day

The pack does not restrict Mew to a particular window.

Shiny Mew

A shiny version of Mew exists in this pack, using a different color scheme from the normal one. It is simply a matter of luck whether the Mew you encounter is shiny, since the pack does not change how shinies are rolled.

What Changes

Once you find one, the pack gives Mew a redesigned model and custom animations, so it moves in a livelier way than the default version.
