How to Make Bronze Tools and Armor in Mekanism Tools
Getting Bronze
Bronze is an alloy. You need to combine copper and tin. In Mekanism, this is typically done in a Metallurgic Infuser or a similar alloying process depending on your setup. Once you have Bronze Ingots, you can craft the full Bronze tool and armor set.
What Bronze Offers
Bronze sits between stone and iron in terms of mining capability and durability. It is a solid early-game upgrade if you have copper and tin available but want to save iron for machines. The set includes a Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Hoe, Shield, Paxel, Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots.
Crafting the Set
Use a crafting table. Tools follow the standard Minecraft tool recipes using Bronze Ingots or Bronze Plates (check your version's recipe in JEI/REI). Armor follows the standard armor patterns. The Shield is crafted similarly to a vanilla shield but with Bronze materials.
When to Use Bronze
Bronze is best used early, before you have steady iron or osmium production. It lets you gear up quickly and save better materials for machines and advanced tools. Once you have Osmium or Refined Glowstone, transition away from Bronze for combat and mining.
