Play Minecraft on M1/M2 Mac with Proper Mouse Support

Compatibility

McMouser Mod supports both processor architectures used in modern Macs:

  • arm64: Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3 and newer)
  • amd64: Intel-based Macs (x64 processors)

Installation

1. Verify your Mac's processor type (Apple menu → About This Mac)

2. Install the appropriate mod version for your architecture

3. Launch Minecraft—the mod loads automatically

What You Get

Regardless of your Mac's processor, you'll experience:

  • Fixed Shift + Scroll hotbar switching
  • Disabled Ctrl + Click emulation
  • Mouse behavior matching Windows and Linux players

Why This Matters

MacOS has unique mouse handling that differs from other operating systems. Without this mod, macOS players face input lag, reversed scroll directions, and broken modifier key combinations. The mod bridges this gap for both Apple Silicon and Intel architectures, ensuring consistent gameplay across all platforms.
