How to Share Server Logs and Crash Reports with Mclogs Mod
Exporting Old Logs and Crash Reports
Mclogs Mod is not limited to the current session. It can export older logs, crash reports, and network errors so you can share a problem that already happened. Look for the mod's export option in its interface or config-driven frontend, then select the log or crash report you want to upload. The mod sends it to mclo.gs and returns a link.
Why This Helps Server Admins
When a player reports a crash, you often need the server-side log rather than the client log. Exporting the relevant crash report or the log from the time of the incident gives you a clean, shareable page. Sensitive details like IP addresses are hidden automatically, so you can post the link publicly without leaking player information.
Reading the Highlighted Output
On the mclo.gs page, errors and warnings stand out, and version information is listed clearly. This makes it easy to confirm whether a mod version mismatch or a missing dependency caused the crash. Share the link with your modpack team or in a support thread.
Choosing a Custom Frontend
If your community runs its own log-viewing frontend, the mod supports custom frontends through its config file. Point it at your preferred service so exported logs land where your team already looks for them.
