Troubleshoot Discord Connection Issues

Verify Bot Token and Permissions

Confirm your Discord bot token is correct and hasn't expired. Check that the bot has been invited to your server with appropriate permissions: Send Messages, Read Messages, and Read Message History.

Check Channel IDs

Ensure the Discord channel IDs in your configuration are correct. You can find a channel's ID by enabling Developer Mode in Discord and right-clicking the channel. Mismatched IDs are a common cause of failed synchronization.

Review Server Logs

Check your Minecraft server logs for error messages related to the mod. Look for connection timeouts, authentication failures, or permission errors. These logs often indicate what's preventing communication.

Test Network Connectivity

Verify your server can reach Discord's servers. Firewall or network restrictions might block the connection. If running locally, ensure your machine has internet access.

Reload Configuration

After making changes to the config file, restart your server or use the mod's reload command to apply new settings. Changes don't take effect until reloaded.

Verify Bot Status

Confirm the bot appears online in your Discord server. If offline, the token may be invalid or the bot may have crashed.
