Monitor Server Events and Player Activity on Discord

Enable Event Logging

In your mod configuration, locate the event logging section and enable notifications for server events. Common events include player joins, player leaves, deaths, and advancements.

Assign Event Channels

Designate specific Discord channels for different event types. You might want player joins in one channel and deaths in another for better organization. Configure each event category to post to its corresponding channel.

Customize Event Messages

Most configurations allow you to format how events appear. You can include player names, timestamps, or additional context. For example, death messages can show the cause and location.

Monitor Advancements

Set up advancement notifications to track player progress. This helps server administrators see when milestones are reached without logging in.

Test Event Triggers

Have a test player join the server and complete an action (like earning an advancement or dying) to verify events post correctly to Discord. Check that all relevant details appear in the message.
