Execute Server Commands from Discord
Configure Command Permissions
In your mod settings, enable remote command execution and specify which Discord roles are allowed to run commands. Typically, only server administrators or moderators should have this permission.
Set Up a Command Channel
Designate a private Discord channel where commands can be executed. This keeps sensitive operations separate from general chat and prevents accidental command triggers.
Learn the Command Syntax
Commands from Discord typically use a prefix (often / or !) followed by the Minecraft command. For example, /say or /give work as they would in-game. Check your configuration for the exact prefix your mod uses.
Test Basic Commands
Start with safe commands like /say to broadcast a message in-game. Once confirmed working, try administrative commands like /ban or /kick if your role permits.
Document Allowed Commands
For security, maintain a list of which commands your community is allowed to execute remotely. Restrict dangerous commands like /stop to only the most trusted administrators.
