Survive Encounters with Maze Threats

Stay Alert in Open Areas

Dangerous mobs spawn throughout the map, especially in sectors and open corridors. Listen for hostile sounds and watch for movement. Keep your distance from shadows and corners where threats may hide.

Use Terrain for Defense

The maze's stone walls and structures provide cover. If threatened, retreat into narrow passages where mobs have difficulty reaching you. Use elevation changes and corners to break line of sight with pursuers.

Carry Defensive Tools

Keep a weapon in your hotbar at all times, even if you prefer avoiding combat. A sword or axe lets you defend yourself if cornered. Prioritize escape over fighting whenever possible.

Light Up Your Path

Torches and other light sources reduce mob spawning nearby. Place lights as you explore to create safer zones. Well-lit areas are easier to navigate and less likely to harbor threats.

Know When to Retreat

If you're low on health or food, return to a safe area immediately. The monument pieces aren't going anywhere—survival is more important than rushing collection. Rest, eat, and prepare before venturing back into dangerous territory.
