Set Up Mobs as Pets or Followers

Enabling Pet Behavior

The Masky MobVote Model pack includes configurations that allow mobs to follow players. To activate this, ensure your MythicMobs configuration files have follower or pet mechanics enabled for the creatures you want to use as companions. Check the provided config files for any pet-specific settings or flags.

Summoning Your Pet

Use MythicMobs commands to summon a mob near you. Once spawned, mobs configured with follower behavior will track and follow the player who summoned them, acting as an interactive pet or world companion. This works for any of the included creatures, from Glares to Copper Golems.

Managing Multiple Pets

You can summon multiple mobs to follow you simultaneously. Each will maintain its own animation state and follow behavior. If you want to despawn a pet, use standard Minecraft entity removal commands or move far enough away that it unloads from the world.
