Set Up Price Thresholds for Your Items
Configure Warning Limits
MarketGuard uses price data to determine when an action is risky. You can customize how sensitive the mod is to price differences.
1. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible via mod settings or in-game config command)
2. Locate the MarketGuard settings panel
3. Find the threshold or tolerance settings — these control how far a price can deviate before the mod warns you
4. Adjust the percentage or coin amount based on your comfort level. A tighter threshold (smaller tolerance) will warn you more often; a looser one only blocks extreme outliers
5. Save your changes
Apply to Buy and Sell Separately
You can often set different thresholds for buying versus selling. This is useful because:
- Buying protection might be stricter (you don't want to overpay)
- Selling protection might be looser (you may accept slightly lower offers to move items quickly)
Test your settings by browsing the Auction House. When you hover over or attempt to interact with an item, you should see warnings appear in chat if the price seems off. Adjust until the frequency feels right for your playstyle.
