Customizing the Appearance of Your Guidebook

Applying a Custom Theme

Markdown Manual Mod comes with a default book theme, but you can completely restyle it to match your mod's aesthetic. Create a custom theme by defining colors, fonts, and layout properties in your mod's configuration files.

You can implement dark mode, adjust text colors, change background images, and modify spacing to fit your brand. The mod's theming system is flexible enough to support radically different visual styles without changing the underlying Markdown content.

Inheriting and Extending Themes

If you're building on top of another mod's guidebook, you can inherit its theme and override only the elements you want to change. This keeps your documentation consistent with the broader modpack aesthetic while maintaining your own identity.

Test your theme in-game by opening the manual and checking readability across different screen sizes and resolutions.
