Creating a Markdown Guidebook for Your Mod

Writing Your First Guide

Markdown Manual Mod lets you write mod documentation in plain Markdown format. Create a .md file with your guide content, then register it through your mod's configuration or code integration.

Start with a title using #, add sections with ##, and format text with bold and *italics*. Use standard Markdown lists and code blocks for recipes or commands.

Linking Pages Together

Connect your guide pages by using standard Markdown link syntax: [Click here](page-name). The mod automatically converts these into clickable navigation between your documentation pages.

You can also embed item icons and block models directly into your text using image tags:

`

![Item Name](item:modid/item_name)

![Block Model](block:modid/block_name)

`

This keeps your guide visually rich without requiring custom textures or complex formatting. Players can jump between related topics and see exactly what items you're describing.
