Viewing Enhanced Map Details

Hold a filled map in your hand to see the mod's improvements in action. Standard flat pixel art is replaced with textured block details, realistic terrain shading based on slope and sunlight, and clear biome color transitions. Water now displays visible depth information, letting you see river and lake beds clearly.

Switch between the surface view and underground cave layer using the map interface. The cave layer shows reachable tunnel networks using true line of sight, helping you plan mining routes safely.

Place custom markers on your map by selecting points of interest—each marker can have a unique icon, label, and color. Adjust your mod settings to control the map reveal radius and which blocks render as textures. These settings are found in the mod configuration menu.
