This pack darkens text box frames, slot grids, and background textures so that your items remain visually distinct and easy to read. The dark backgrounds create contrast that makes item icons pop without overwhelming the screen.

Viewing Items Clearly

1. Open any supported mod's storage or crafting interface (Functional Storage crates, Let's Do cooking pots, Create machines, or Farmer's Delight stations).

2. Place items in slots: Items will display with their textures clearly visible against the dark frame.

3. Use JEI or similar tools: Utility mods like JEI also receive dark theming, so recipe lookups and item searches maintain the same visual style.

Optimizing Your View

If text or item names appear hard to read, ensure your monitor brightness is set appropriately. The dark theme is designed to reduce eye strain during long play sessions, but individual monitor calibration affects perceived contrast. Adjust your in-game brightness slider if needed without disabling the resource pack.
